These trackers can be used with standalone setups, but you will need a device to run the SlimeVR Server app and manage your trackers.

You can use:

✅ A basic laptop
✅ An Android phone
✅ An Android tablet
✅ A Mac computer

If using an Android phone or tablet, you may need a USB-C cable or adapter to connect the included antenna/dongle.

Cable/adapter is not included.

⚠️ Not compatible with iPhone or iPad for standalone setup.

Apple phones and tablets using iOS cannot be used as the controller device because the required third-party software cannot be installed on iOS.

MacOS computers can be used.

Please do not purchase these trackers if you plan to use an iPhone or iPad for setup.

Our products are virtual reality trackers/sensors manufactured, assembled, modified, or sold by us, based on technology, design, compatibility, or functionality related to the SlimeVR ecosystem.

We are not SlimeVR Official.
We do not sell official SlimeVR products.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, authorized by, or endorsed by SlimeVR Official, SlimeVR B.V., its developers, partners, official communities, or representatives.

Any mention of “SlimeVR” is made only in a descriptive way to indicate technical compatibility or reference to the compatible software/hardware ecosystem.

2. Technical Support

The customer understands and agrees that SlimeVR Official will not provide technical support, warranty service, repairs, replacements, configuration help, or assistance for products purchased from our store.

All support will be provided only by us through our official support channels, including Discord, Etsy messages, or any other channel listed in the product listing.

The customer agrees not to contact SlimeVR Official requesting warranty, support, replacement, or repair for products purchased from us.

3. Final Sale and Non-Refundable Policy

All sales are final.
By placing an order, the customer understands and agrees that the purchase is final, non-refundable, and non-returnable, except where required by applicable law.

We do not accept refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations for:

Change of mind.
Buyer’s remorse.

4. Limited Warranty

The applicable warranty is only the warranty period stated in the product listing at the time of purchase.

The warranty covers verified manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover:

Damage from drops, impacts, pressure, moisture, liquids, excessive dust, or heat.
Damage caused by misuse, modification, opening, external repairs, or unauthorized handling.
Damage caused by incorrect chargers, defective cables, overcharging, or improper connections.
Damage related to updates, settings, third-party software, modified firmware, or incompatibility with the customer’s system.
Normal battery wear, straps, cases, connectors, adhesives, or consumable parts.
Problems caused by use outside the instructions provided.
Damage caused during international shipping, customs inspection, or mishandling by third parties, unless otherwise required by law.

To request warranty service, the customer must provide clear evidence of the issue, order number, photos/videos, and follow our troubleshooting instructions.

Warranty service may include troubleshooting, repair, part replacement, or replacement of the affected item, at our discretion.

The warranty does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

5. Batteries, Charging, and Safety

Our products may include rechargeable batteries or other electronic components. The customer agrees to use them carefully and responsibly.

The customer agrees to:

Use only proper chargers and cables.
Avoid charging the product unattended for long periods.
Stop using the product immediately if it shows strange smells, excessive heat, swelling, smoke, leakage, physical damage, or abnormal behavior.
Never puncture, crush, wet, open, burn, or modify the battery.
Keep the product away from children, pets, liquids, fire, and extreme temperatures.
Stop using the product immediately if any safety issue appears.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper chargers, battery handling, customer modifications, household accidents, shipping damage, customs handling, or failure to follow these safety instructions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the purchased product.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or resulting damages, including but not limited to:

Damage to VR equipment, computers, chargers, cables, or accessories.
Physical injuries caused by incorrect use, tripping, falling, cables, sudden movement, or accidents during VR use.
Loss of data, time, income, business, or activities.
Damage caused by batteries, overheating, impacts, moisture, handling, or negligence.
Problems caused by software, firmware, servers, updates, or third-party changes.
Customs delays, import restrictions, carrier mishandling, lost packages, or delivery issues outside our control, unless required by law.

The customer understands that virtual reality use involves physical risks and agrees to use the product in a safe environment.

7. Use of the SlimeVR Name

The name “SlimeVR” belongs to its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of that name or brand.

The customer acknowledges that:

Our product is not official.
SlimeVR Official is not involved in the sale.
SlimeVR Official is not responsible for support, warranty, defects, damages, shipping, returns, refunds, or claims.
Any reference to SlimeVR is used only to describe compatibility.

We agree to correct or remove any brand usage that could reasonably cause confusion about official affiliation, approval, or endorsement.

8. Intellectual Property or Trademark Claims

If SlimeVR Official, an authorized representative, or any rights holder believes that a listing, image, description, tag, title, or material infringes their rights, they should notify us through Etsy’s proper reporting process or by contacting our store administrator.

After receiving a valid and verifiable notice, we may:

Review the reported content.
Modify titles, images, tags, or descriptions.
Temporarily pause the listing.
Remove the content when appropriate.
Request additional information to verify the claim.

For serious intellectual property, safety, or brand-confusion claims, we may hide or pause the listing as a preventive measure while reviewing it.

For non-urgent, incomplete, or verification-required requests, the review process may take up to 30–60 days, as long as this does not conflict with Etsy policies or applicable law.

9. International Shipping

We offer international shipping when available.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, unpaid customs fees, refusal to accept delivery, failure to collect the package, or buyer-related issues, shipping costs are non-refundable. Additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.

10. Compatibility

Although our products may be compatible with the SlimeVR software or ecosystem, we do not guarantee universal compatibility with every device, game, software version, operating system, headset, PC configuration, or future update.

The customer is responsible for checking compatibility before purchasing.

Changes made by third parties, including updates to SlimeVR, SteamVR, VRChat, firmware, drivers, or operating systems, may affect product functionality and will not automatically be considered a manufacturing defect.

11. Proper Use of the Product

The customer agrees to use the product only for reasonable personal, recreational, or technical purposes.

The customer must not:

Open, modify, or resell the product as official.
Remove warnings or identification labels.
Use the product in dangerous conditions.
Use it while driving, operating machinery, or doing risky physical activity.
Expose it to water, fire, severe impacts, or extreme temperatures.
Use damaged cables, chargers, batteries, or accessories.

Failure to follow these rules may void the warranty.

12. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for reading the full product description, checking compatibility, understanding the limitations of DIY/custom VR tracking products, and following all setup, safety, charging, and usage instructions.

By purchasing, the customer confirms that they understand the product may require setup, calibration, software configuration, troubleshooting, and proper handling.

The customer also understands that tracking quality may vary depending on body movement, placement, environment, wireless interference, software settings, firmware, and third-party applications.

13. Indemnification

The customer agrees to hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or disputes arising from:

Incorrect use of the product.
Misleading resale as an official product.
Product modification.
Failure to follow safety instructions.
Claims made against SlimeVR Official for products purchased from us.
Damage caused by the customer’s or third party’s negligence.
Violation of these terms and conditions.
14. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, purchasing, paying for, receiving, opening, installing, configuring, or using our products, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
